黄山云谷索道座落在云谷寺景区，是黄山旅游发展股份有限公司直属企业，目前拥有三线往复式（老索道）和单线循环式脱挂吊厢式（新索道）二条客运索道。
    云谷老索道：建成于1986年，是全国最早的客运索道之一。全场2808米，索道，索道下起云谷寺，上至白鹅岭，高差773米，最高速度7米/秒，运行时间为8分钟。沿途有5座支架，车厢载客50＋1人。
    云谷新索道：建于2006年12月，是目前世界上技术设备最先进的索道。全场2666米，索道下起云谷寺北侧，上至白鹅岭北侧，高差775米，沿途有18座支架，最高速度6米/秒，每车载客8人。
    乘坐云谷新老索道，沿途可欣赏天都峰、莲花峰、佛掌峰、喜鹊登梅、仙人翻桌、葫芦石、羊子过江……等著名景点。置身穿云破雾的缆车中，宛若徜徉在人间仙境，绝妙风光，尽收眼底。

A Brief Introduction to the Cloud Valley Cableway in Mountain Huangshan

Located in Cloud Valley scenic area,Mt.Huangshan, The Cloud Valley Cableway hold two passenger cable cars , the earlier three-line reciprocating cable car and the newest single way detachable Gondola rope way.The earlier Cloud Valley cable way, built in 1986,is one of the earliest cable way in China..With the total length of 2808 meters and height difference of 773 meter,the cable car begins from the Cloud Valley Temple and end up at White Goose Mountain. The rated operation speed is 7 meters per second and it takes 8 minutes in one way.Each cabin takes 50+1 people, there are 5 supporting towers.
Built up in Dec 2006, The new Cloud Valley is the most advanced cable car in the world.The 2666 meter's cable way start at the north of the Cloud Valley senic area and end up at the north of White Goose peak. The height difference is 775 meter.The rated operation speed is 6 meters per second and it takes 8 minutes in one way.Each cabin take 8, there are 18 supporting towers.
While on the cableway, you can appreciate a lot of scenic spots, such as Magpie Landing on Plum Blossom Tree, Immortal Overturning the Table, Monkey Holding the Peach and Double Cats Catching the Rats, etc.. You’ll feel as if roaming leisurely in a fairyland, where all the splendid views come to your eyes.
